Winston Peters was greeted with a mixed reception when he attended the farmer protest in Morrinsville yesterday.
The NZ First Leader was jeered at and drowned out by Myrtle the tractor as farmers demanded he say whether he would side with National or Labour.
Peters dismissed this reaction today on The Country, saying anything negative was down to "a number of blue-eyed National Party people who didn't want me to speak."
Also in today's interview with Jamie Mackay, Winston Peters floats a couple of conspiracy theories around secret National Party taxes, talks about the secret ownership of the damaged fuel pipe line and compares himself to Winston Churchill.
