Laila Harre's appointment was one of the worst-organised interviews we've attended. We emailed the Internet Party press contact on Tuesday afternoon to set up the interview. He pledged it would happen at 9.30am Friday.
By Thursday afternoon, Harre was announced but we had no confirmation of the interview. Late Thursday night, the press contact confirmed noon. No, we'd set the time for 9.30am. Okay, he said, "I'll email the address tonight".
By 9.10am on Friday we still had no confirmation so we looked up Harre's home address and headed over. A makeup artist was finishing up, surrounded by boxes of product, for our photo shoot. Heaven only knows what she would have done with her great-looking makeover had we not found her.
