Police warning over lost drugs

Lower Hutt police are warning anyone who picked up a bag of methadone in the Lower Hutt suburb of Naenae that it could be fatal if misused.

The small pharmacy bag was dropped between 9am and 10am yesterday in Hillary Court.

It contained two small bottles of methadone, which is used for pain relief and to treat people coming off heroin.
