Police warn public about dangerous man

A wanted and potentially dangerous man being sought after he failed to appear in court should not be approached, police say.

Allan Alvin Grant, 29, was due to appear in the North Shore District Court in Auckland last month on a range of charges and an arrest warrant was issued.

Police said legally they could not reveal charges Grant faced but said he should not be approached and anyone with information should call police.

Grant is 178cm tall with a medium build with short black hair.
