Police are appealing to the public for help to catch a Mongrel Mob member after an Auckland shopkeeper was followed home and robbed at gunpoint.
Police say Toko Manahi, 47, is armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
Manahi was believed to have followed the shopkeeper home from Papatoetoe, in South Auckland, and robbed them of the takings.
Manahi was believed to be driving a blue Mitsubishi Legnum and hiding in the Mangere area, police said.
The aggravated robbery was one of 13 similar incidents in Mangere, Mangere Bridge, Papatoetoe and Otahuhu being investigated.
Detective Senior Sergeant David Pizzini told the New Zealand Herald there was nothing to suggest the incidents were linked but robbers rarely did one-off hits.
