KEY POINTS:
Police involved in the search for missing Christchurch woman Tisha Lowry want to speak with anyone who knew her when she was living in Porirua, north of Wellington.
The 28-year-old woman was last seen on September 25 in the Hampshire Street area of Aranui where she was living with her grandfather after reportedly taking "time out" from the home she shared with her 48-year-old boyfriend.
Ms Lowry and her boyfriend moved to Christchurch a year ago from Porirua and had been living together in the Aranui and Kaiapoi areas.
Inquiry head Detective Senior Sergeant Virginia Le Bas said today police would be interested to hear from anyone who lived in the Wellington area at the time Ms Lowry did and knew her.
Ms Le Bas said police would finish their forensic examination of Ms Lowry's grandfather's house today.
Ms Lowry's personal belongings were found at his home, including her cellphone and handbag.
"We're also looking at any other addresses that she may have been at of recent times, and that will include her partner's address."
Police and search and rescue teams would also be scouring the river area and parks near where Ms Lowry was last seen.
Ms Le Bas believed they were starting to build a picture from other sightings in the Hampshire Street area that day.
"It's been very difficult for me working out who her associates and people are.
"We haven't got a complete picture of who she hung out with."
This was because although Miss Lowry went to school in Christchurch she had only been back in the city a short time.
Ms Le Bas said her family were still hopeful she would contact them.
"It's very stressful and I'm sure they're not sleeping.
"It's an absolute mystery."
