Police have now stepped in to investigate allegations a student hacked into an Auckland school's database and sent pornographic images to all its pupils.
Yesterday Mt Albert Grammar school said it was looking into an incident in which graphic images were sent to all its 2700 students.
Today police have confirmed they are also investigating the alleged hacking.
Officers were currently working with the school, a police spokeswoman said.
No further information was provided, but the spokeswoman said more information may be released later today.
