Police investigating the death of a 20-year-old man in Waikato yesterday are saying little about how he died until after a post mortem.
The man died about 3am at a farm house in Morrinsville, near of Hamilton, and his body had been taken to Auckland for a post mortem today.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greene would not say how police believed the man died or if weapons were involved.
"It is a death we are investigating on behalf of the coroner and I am not going to put any labels on it at this stage," Mr Greene said.
The dead man's name was likely to be released later today when the man's family had all been told.
Ambulance staff could not resuscitate the man.
