Police are refusing to release any details about the death of a baby boy at a Christchurch hospital as they investigate the care he received.
Eleven-day-old Finn Stewart Greig died on Monday morning at Christchurch Women's Hospital.
A spokesman said police would be looking into issues associated with the pregnancy, labour, birth and care of the infant and not the care provided by the parents.
