Police still seeking P-binging fugitive

Police were last night still hunting an "extremely dangerous" fugitive they say is armed, desperate, and in the middle of a P-binge.

William (Wiremu) Morris had been wanted by police for some time, but the search escalated after he threatened the occupants of a West Auckland house with a shotgun and discharged a firearm in Avondale on Wednesday.

Morris, who has a full facial moko, is believed to have been using methamphetamine at the time the shot was fired.
