KEY POINTS:
Police in Auckland are still trying to find two men thought to be responsible for a fatal attack on a 24-year-old in Ridge Road at Howick yesterday morning. Panmure man Daryl Graydon died in an ambulance after being stabbed shortly before two o'clock.
Detective Senior Sergeant Karyn Malthus says he had been to two parties in nearby Mellons Bay Road before the stabbing. She says his attackers are described as European, 18 to 25 years of age, although one could have been part Maori with dark, spiky hair and the other blonde-haired and with freckles. Both wore dark clothing.
There has been speculation they spoke with accents.
Police want to speak to anyone who had been at the parties, or saw the attack.
