The man responsible for the desecration of about 30 infant graves at Auckland's Papakura Cemetery remains uncaught.
Police this week released CCTV footage of the incident on Saturday night. The grainy footage showed the alleged offender and a possible witness.
A police spokeswoman said a couple of witnesses had been interviewed yesterday but the investigation was still ongoing.
"The man in the video hasn't been identified and no arrests have been made," she said.
The man in the footage has been described by a witness as a male Maori or Polynesian about 1.72m in height and of chubby build. He was wearing a green hooded jacket, black baggy pants and work boots.
