KEY POINTS:
Police in Christchurch are interviewing a suspect after a woman complained of being sexually violated in a suburban Christchurch park early this morning.
Detective Senior Sergeant David Harvey, of Christchurch CIB, said the incident in Bromley Park was alleged to have happened sometime between 5am and 6am.
The woman was believed to be in her 20s.
"We are working through the complaint and speaking to a male who was located in the Bromley Park area," Mr Harvey said.
