KEY POINTS:
Christchurch police are searching for a woman seen leaving the property of the once-notorious Harris gang shortly before a suspicious fire broke out.
Detective Sergeant Will McIvor said police were interested in speaking with 40-year-old Marcia Robins, who also went by the surname Harris.
She was seen walking away from the Hornby address a short time before the fire was discovered by members of the public, last Thursday morning.
She was later spotted in the Hornby shopping area that afternoon.
Ms Robins had not been in touch with friends or family since the fire.
Mr McIvor said police had concerns for Ms Robins' welfare and urged her to contact them.
Ms Robins was described as caucasian, of medium build, 170cm tall and was last seen wearing a yellow dress and carrying a black leather jacket.
