Police seek witnesses to Hastings stabbing

Police are looking for witnesses after a 35-year-old man was stabbed in the neck in Hastings last night.

The man had been drinking with others at a house when he was attacked. He was taken to hospital in a stable condition, Detective Vanessa Jones said.

The assault happened in the suburb of Parkvale about 11pm.

Police are investigating and want to hear from any witnesses who may have any information.
