Whangarei police are looking for a red Nissan station wagon following a hit and run incident last night.
A 15-year-old boy and a 39-year-old man were taken to Whangarei Hospital with moderate injuries after the vehicle struck the pair while cycling on Otaika Valley Road just after 6.30pm.
The pair were cycling with a group of six, and were turning into Cemetery Road when they were hit by the car.
