Police seek missing tourist

Police in Rotorua are trying to locate an elderly Swedish tourist who was last seen at Rotorua Hospital and may be suffering from health problems.

Annamaria Edgren, 77, is described as Caucasian, 172cm tall of medium build with dyed red hair. She was wearing a dark top and baggy cotton pants and in possession of a grey wheelie bag.

Police said Ms Edgren was travelling in Rotorua and planned to go to Dunedin. She was last seen late yesterday morning at Rotorua Hospital and may be having breathing difficulties or heart problems.

Anyone who knows her whereabouts is urged to contact Rotorua police.
