Police are seeking Jessie Arthur Heke-Gray who is in breach of his parole conditions.
He is 32-years-old and described as being of "solid build" and approximately 189cm tall.
"Heke-Gray should not be approached as he may be armed with a knife," said a police spokesperson.
Any sightings of him should be reported to Counties Manukau Police on 09 3621 1300, or via anonymous tip line, Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
