Police are looking for the owner of a box of firearms found in a military ammunitions box on a Central Otago cycle trail.
The firearms were found on the Roxburgh Cycle Trail in March. Police said they were stored in a military ammunitions box and partially covered on the public track.
Police would like to hear from the owner of the firearms, or from anyone who may have knowledge of who they belong to.
