Police seek help over Auckland hit-and-run

Police northwest of Auckland are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run which has left a 62-year-old cyclist in a critical condition.

The man was struck by a white or cream-coloured 1980's style Toyota ute while cycling along Peak Rd, near Helensville, around 9.30am yesterday.

Police say the driver of the ute failed to stop.
