Police investigating the violent death of a 6-month-old baby in Ngaruawahia, north of Hamilton, last month have gone back to the public for more help.
Serenity Jay Scott-Dinningham later died of head injuries in Auckland's Starship hospital.
A campaign for information began yesterday, with CrimeStoppers pamphlets distributed by NZ Post to every house, business and community group in Ngaruawahia.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greene of Waikato said he preferred to speak to someone face to face but sometimes that was not possible and the anonymity of CrimeStoppers was great. "We want to know what you know, not who you are."
