Invercargill police are appealing for information after several buildings in the central city, including the court house, had concrete thrown through their windows on Friday night.
The BNZ bank and H and J Smith store on Kelvin Street also had a window broken in the same manner.
Police are asking for assistance from the public with identifying a person, likely a male, shown outside the BNZ on Kelvin Street, Invercargill around 3.15am.
He is wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with 3/4 tan coloured camouflage pants.
Senior sergeant Maggie Windle said he can be seen clearly carrying a rock in his hand and has distinctive black shoes with white stripes.
