Police want to speak to four girls after an arson attack at the Dargaville Holiday Park destroyed a building and its contents, including a $6000 ride-on lawnmower.
A stand-alone garage was gutted at the park, on Onslow St, about 6pm last Thursday.
Four Maori or Pacific Island girls aged between 12 and 15 were seen near the garage about an hour before the fire was discovered.
One of the girls was possibly suffering from eczema and had scarring on her face as a consequence, police said.
Police are interested in anyone who has information that may help in identifying who lit the fire.
