A man wearing the odd combination of a hoodie, formal pants and shoes ran down a main Christchurch road with a till after robbing a dairy this evening.
The man entered the dairy on Riccarton Rd about 7.15pm and held a knife up to the owner.
He left with the till and ran north-bound on Matipo Street towards Peverel Street.
He was wearing a black covering over his face, black formal pants, a dark blue hoodie, and black formal shoes.
