Invercargill police are seeking information about a suspicious fire in the city.
The Fire Service was called to a blaze at 7.50 yesterday morning on the corner of Tummel and Crawford streets.
The fire caused "extensive damage" to a carport and the attached house, police detective Mason Middlemass said.
He said police would like to hear from anyone who saw suspicious behaviour in the area between 5am and 8am yesterday.
