Police seek Bunnythorpe arsonist

Police are looking for help tracing an arsonist who tried to burn down a house at Bunnythorpe, near Feilding, this morning.

Palmerston North detective Marie Lambert said the house in Bunnythorpe had been vacant for several years.

It was extensively damaged in the fire, which started about 1am.

Police wish to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time.
