Police are hunting three men armed with weapons who robbed a Hamilton dairy of cash and cigarettes.
The men entered the Kingsway Superette in Prisk St about 8.20am on Saturday armed with a hammer, hatchet and screwdriver.
Detective Sergeant Andy Saunders of Hamilton police said it remained unclear how much cash or how many cigarettes were taken.
The man armed with a yellow handled hatchet had his face covered and was wearing a white t-shirt, light grey hooded sweat shirt, black gloves, black shoes with black soles and a G Shock or similar wrist watch.
