Police searching for missing jetskier

Police are searching for a person who went missing while jetskiing on Rotorua's Lake Okareka this afternoon.

Police, Coastguard Rotorua and a helicopter were searching the area for the person who went missing about 4pm, Rotorua Senior Sergeant Mike Membery said.

No other details were available.
