Police in New Plymouth are searching for an 79-year-old man who was last seen near the waterfront on the city's coastal walkway.
The man, caucasian, is said to be wearing jeans, sneakers and a dark coat. He also uses a walking stick and walks very slowly.
Police, search and rescue crews and the Fire Service are currently in the area - between Port and Egmont streets - searching for him.
