Police are searching for a man who went missing after falling into a river at Mt Aspiring National Park.
“Emergency services were alerted shortly before 5pm yesterday that a man had fallen from a rock into the river and had failed to resurface,” a police spokesperson said.
A search team was immediately sent to the area but could not find the man.
The search resumed this morning about 8am, the spokesperson said.
