Police search for Papakura woman

Police search teams are looking for a woman missing from her home in Papakura, south of Auckland.

Leone Wilkinson, 59, was last seen at her home yesterday at 2.45pm.

She was taking medication and police were growing worried about her safety.

Ms Wilkinson was 172cm tall, of thin build, wearing blue jeans, a mustard coloured top, a chunky brown cardigan and glasses.

She may not be wearing shoes.

An elderly man missing on Coromandel Peninsula was found safe and well yesterday.

Alfred John Cribb, 82, known as Jack, was found late yesterday afternoon after he disappeared from his room at a retirement village in Whangamata.
