The search has resumed this morning for a 74-year-old man who has been missing since his boat capsized at Manukau Heads yesterday.
Police said four members of the Police National Dive Squad arrived in Auckland this morning, and have launched from the Te Toro boat ramp in Waiuku.
The divers will search the area where the boat was last seen.
Police Eagle helicopter has been searching the area since first light this morning, while a Land Search and Rescue team will search the coastline at low tide this afternoon.
Senior Constable Garry Larsen of the police maritime unit said it was a distressing time for the man's family and police were doing all they could to support them.
