Police are searching for a man who stole a day's worth of bank takings after he robbed a security van while armed with a gun in central Auckland.
The aggravated robbery happened at about 2.15pm on January 8 when the van, guarded by two security officers, was robbed by a man on the corner of Darby and Queen Sts in the CBD.
The man got away with a large amount of cash in a stolen vehicle, which was later recovered.
