KEY POINTS:
More than two weeks after she was reported missing, the disappearance of Tisha Lowry remains a mystery.
But the police and Ms Lowry's family have not given up hope that the fate of the 28-year-old Christchurch woman will be solved.
Inquiry head Detective Senior Sergeant Virginia le Bas told NZPA tonight that police had today carried out a big mail drop in the area where Miss Lowry was last seen.
"We're still looking and following up all our different inquiries," Ms Le Bas said.
Ms Lowry disappeared without trace on the morning of September 25, after leaving the Bower Tavern in suburban Aranui to walk to her grandfather's home nearby.
She was reported missing by her family on Sunday, September 28.
Ms Lowry and her 48-year-old boyfriend moved to Christchurch a year ago from Porirua and had been living together in the Aranui and Kaiapoi areas.
Recently Ms Lowry had been living with her grandfather "to be in a different location and to have a little bit of space" from her boyfriend.
Ms Lowry's personal belongings, including her cellphone and handbag, were found at her grandfather's home.
Since her disappearance Ms Lowry has had no contact with family or friends and there have been no confirmed sightings of her.
Ms Le Bas said police made a special plea for people outdoors during the weekend to come forward if they noticed anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, but there had been no significant developments.
"We're just working away on the information we've got and the people who have come to our attention," she said.
