Police have renewed their appeal for help in finding a Samoan man missing from his south Auckland rest home last week
Police said Siafua Faleaupu, 58, also known by the first name of Popi, suffers from mild dementia.
He was last seen at about 3.00pm last Wednesday at the Christina Rest Home on Massey Road in Mangere.
Police said he was fit and healthy and occasionally went for long walks. He has gone missing from the rest home before and had been found as far afield as Avondale.
Mr Faleaupu was wearing a grey T-shirt with red on the front, knee length black shorts and jandals.
Anyone with information about him should contact Counties Manukau police.
