Police have seized thousands of dollars in cash, a gun and a stolen Mercedes when they raided two north Auckland properties for drugs and stolen possession.
Police found large amount of meth, $35,000 in cash, a loaded gun, taser guns and a stolen Mercedes when they raided a Fowler Access Rd home in Puhoi, at about 7am yesterday.
A 41-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman have been charged with offences including possession of methamphetamine for supply, possession of firearms and receiving stolen property.
Detective Sergeant Callum McNeill said firearms and meth were usually seized together.
"Where there is meth, there are guns.
