Police are keeping tight-lipped about a reported sexual assault at a flat in the heart of Dunedin's student quarter.
Officers were called to the flat in Dundas St just before 9pm on Friday.
The house was under police guard overnight on Friday and forensics teams in body suits and gloves were seen at the address on Saturday.
The scene examination finished about noon yesterday and a detective could be seen speaking to a group at a flat down the road known as "The Hospital", where, Fairfax Media reported, a large student party was taking place.
A police spokeswoman yesterday confirmed no-one was in custody in relation to the assault but would not provide further details on the matter. Nor would police say if any information was wanted from the public.
