A man is being treated for minor injuries after a rather spectacular crash which saw his car land in the middle of a busy Hamilton roundabout.
Waikato police Senior Sergeant Andrew O'Reilly said he was still trying to work out how the car ended up in the middle of the Hukanui Rd/Wairere Dr, Chartwell, roundabout just after 7am today, however it was likely due to the driver suffering a "medical event".
The man had suffered only minor injuries after the crash.
Traffic appeared to be flowing relatively smoothly although a St. John Ambulance and police patrol car were currently blocking the inside lane as they treated the man.
