KEY POINTS:
Police are investigating the death of a woman at the Porirua Mongrel Mob headquarters.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam said emergency services were called about 5am to the gang headquarters of the Porirua Mongrel Mob in Waitangirua, Porirua.
"As a result of this call the Porirua police are investigating the death of a 33-year-old woman," he said.
"At this stage the circumstances of her death are unknown."
A post-mortem examination was to be held this afternoon.
"The police are receiving full co-operation of the occupants of the gang headquarters," Mr Oxnam said.
