Police say they are likely to make one more big push this weekend and early next week to try to resolve the mystery disappearance of Kerikeri woman Cristel De Vetten.
The 30-year-old has not been seen since February 10, when she left her 4-year-old son alone at her Matua Block, Redcliffs Rd, property about 10km north of Kerikeri while her partner was out clearing gorse.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Pannett, leading the investigation, said yesterday that police were going back into Ms De Vetten's past and talking to people who had had contact with her.
It was revealed a week ago that Ms De Vetten had become increasingly withdrawn in recent weeks as she worked through custody issues involving her young son, Jaxon, whose father she split from last year.
