KEY POINTS:
Police confirmed today they are not looking for anyone in connection with the deaths of four Japanese people found in a burning Christchurch house last week.
Officers began a murder investigation after firefighters found the bodies when they were called to a Puriri St, Riccarton, house about 7.30am on April 2.
Three of the dead were members of a Japanese family -- Junichi Tomonaga, aged 58, his wife Keiko, 60, and Mr Tomonaga's mother, Michiko, 80.
The fourth victim was a Japanese woman who boarded with the Tomonagas, Kinuko Hanai, 37.
Murder investigation head Detective Inspector Greg Williams said today police were satisfied no one else was involved in the deaths.
"The matter has been referred to the coroner and we can make no further comment," he said.
