KEY POINTS:
Police have named the woman who died after being struck by a car in the Auckland suburb of Panmure yesterday.
She was 68-year-old Ting Xue Xiong.
Police said Mrs Xiong received fatal injuries when she was hit by a SUV vehicle near the Panmure roundabout on Jellicoe Road about 10.15 on Thursday.
The SUV's driver has spoken to police but the Serious Crash Unit is calling for other witnesses to the fatal accident to come forward.
