Police name woman killed in Otago crash

Police have named a 60-year-old woman killed in a one-car crash in Otago.

She was Lynda Reeves of Brighton.

Ms Reeves was driving south on Taieri Mouth Road, about 7km south of Brighton, near Dunedin, when she crashed into a lamp post about 11.30am yesterday, acting Senior Sergeant Paul McLaughlan said.

She died at the scene.

Mr McLaughlan said police are expecting post-mortem results today to determine whether a medical event contributed to the crash.
