KEY POINTS:
Police have named the 50-year-old woman found dead in her home at Ngaruawahia yesterday.
Pauline Sharryn Witeri was found in her bed by her partner, who alerted police.
She had no visible injuries.
The result of a post-mortem was due this afternoon, and at this stage there was nothing to suggest Ms Witeri's death was suspicious, police said.
Senior Sergeant Mata John said it appeared she had stopped breathing and police were trying to find out if she had any health problems which led to her death.
"We may find it was just nature taking its course...You don't stop breathing without a reason but it wasn't staring us in the face, so we're obliged to find out why."
