Police name two children killed in Northland crashes

Police serious crash investigators mark out the car's path at the fatal crash, State Highway 12, Omanaia where a child was killed.

Police have named the two children killed in separate crashes in Northland last Friday.

The 6-year-old girl who died in the crash on SH12 near Omanaia was Joshwyn Reihana-Ruka.

And the 5-year-old boy who died in the crash in Whangarei, on Mill Rd, was Jahquin Sadler.

Both crashes are under investigation by the Northland Serious Crash Unit.

Northland's road toll stands at 38 deaths for the year to date.
