Police have named the pedestrian who died after being hit by a car on Auckland's North Shore as Christine Anne Ovens of Auckland.
The 56-year-old was killed on Oteha Valley Rd on Thursday around 7.30am.
Police extended their sympathies to Ovens' family and friends.
