KEY POINTS:
Police have named a 51-year-old Motueka man who was killed in a head-on collision south of the town yesterday.
He was Robert David Turner.
Motueka police Senior Sergeant Grant Andrews said the man was the sole occupant of a vehicle travelling north on State Highway 60 when the crash happened near Robinson Rd at Lower Moutere, 47km northwest of Nelson .
A 62-year-old woman driving the other vehicle was taken to Nelson Hospital in a serious condition.
The crash was still being investigated, Mr Andrews said.
