KEY POINTS:
Police have named the man whose body was found in a burnt out garage in Onehunga on Thursday morning.
He was Nicholas John Game, 37, of Onehunga.
A post mortem was carried out on the body and found that he most likely died of smoke inhalation.
Detective Senior Sergeant Simon Scott of Avondale CIB said a scene examination had also determined that the most likely cause of the fire was an electrical fault.
Police have declined to comment on reports that the garage was being used as a P lab.
A woman living in a house adjoining the garage was treated for minor injuries by ambulance staff.
