KEY POINTS:
Police have named the man found dead in rural Foxton on Saturday as they continue the hunt for his killer.
Glen Donald Stinson, 57, from Palmerston North, was found dead in the driveway of a Wylie Rd poultry farm by staff there as they turned up for work at about 5.45am.
A post mortem showed he died from severe injuries to his head and face.
Inspector Mark Harrison from the Palmerston North police said it appeared the injuries were the result of an assault and police were still trying to piece together how the body ended up where it was.
"Police are unaware of how Mr Stinson got to Wylie Rd and are anxious to trace his movements from late afternoon Friday to until his body was discovered...," Mr Harrison said today.
He said police wanted to hear from anyone who may have seen either people or vehicles in the Wylie Rd area overnight on Friday.
A large investigation team completed a scene examination yesterday and police have spoken to friends and family of Mr Stinson.
