KEY POINTS:
Police have named a Korean man who is charged with murder, attempted murder and arson arising from an Auckland dental surgery fire.
Chul-Jun Cho, 43, a self employed businessman of West Harbour, was further remanded in custody after a second appearance in Waitakere District Court today.
Cho has been charged with the murder of a 42-year-old Korean woman Misook Kim, a dental assistant who died in the fire at the Toothcare West clinic at lunchtime on Saturday.
Police laid the charges after a liquid accelerant was used to start a fire in a first floor dental surgery in the Henderson CBD.
Two men who were on the premises at time of the fire suffered minor injuries and smoke inhalation.
Cho previously had interim name suppression but it was lifted by the court.
A police spokesman said their inquiries were almost complete and nobody else was being sought in relation to the incident.
